I’m alexdelatorre — a bilingual actor, podcast host, and creative designer born in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco, Mexico, and now based in Los Angeles. From a young age, I knew storytelling was my path. Whether I was performing in school plays or observing the way characters lived and breathed on screen, I felt a deep calling to express what it means to be human.

I trained intensively at two of Mexico’s most prestigious acting conservatories: CasAzul ARGOS and CEA Televisa. These formative years gave me the tools to work with emotional depth, technical precision, and cultural fluency in both Spanish and English. Later, I expanded my storytelling lens by studying Film Production at Santa Monica College, which gave me a holistic understanding of the creative process — in front of and behind the camera.

My on-screen work includes television, independent film, and commercial campaigns, always driven by the same goal: to tell stories that bridge cultures, celebrate identity, and ignite personal transformation. I’ve had the honor of playing complex, emotionally layered characters, and recently earned Best Actor nominations at the SmodCastle Film Festival and Chandler International Film Festival for my lead performance in the bilingual indie feature Alta California.

In addition to acting, I’m the creator and host of the Spanish-language podcast Mentes en Construcción, where I explore themes of emotional intelligence, creativity, and growth. I believe mental health and self-awareness are essential in an industry that constantly challenges your confidence and identity. This podcast is my way of building community and staying grounded in the process.

Whether I’m on set, behind the mic, or developing a visual concept, I bring passion, discipline, and heart to everything I do. I’m not interested in chasing fame — I’m here to create meaningful work that connects and inspires.
