about me

I'm Alex de la Torre, a Mexican-born storyteller, actor, creator, and entrepreneur based in Los Angeles.

My journey has taken me from Mexico City, where I trained at CasAzul ARGOS and CEA Televisa, to Los Angeles, where I've continued building a career across film, media, and creative industries. Along the way, I've appeared in television, independent films, and commercial projects in both English and Spanish, including a recurring role on My Heart Is Yours and the award-nominated feature film Alta California, which earned me Best Actor nominations at the SmodCastle Film Festival and Chandler International Film Festival.

But acting is only part of my story.

I've always been fascinated by growth, reinvention, and the experiences that shape who we become. That curiosity led me to create Mentes en Construcción, a Spanish-language podcast exploring personal growth, creativity, mental health, and intentional living. It has also inspired my work in film production, user experience design, and the creative ventures I'm building for the future.

Whether I'm portraying a character, hosting a conversation, designing an experience, or launching a new venture, I'm driven by the same belief:

And like every good story, we're all still becoming who we're meant to be.
